Through Sunday. If you haven’t been to Nederland’s quirky, nationally renowned Frozen Dead Guy Days festival yet, 2016 seems like the perfect year. In its 15th incarnation, the event — which celebrates local Bredo Morstoel, who remains frozen on dry-ice in a Tuff Shed above this small mountain town — features quintessentially Colorado fare like ice turkey bowling, brain freeze contests, ice sculpting and a tongue-in-cheek hearse parade, coffin races, “polar plunges,” more than two-dozen live music acts and more. And yes, there are heated tents, food and drinks. Through March 13 at various locations in downtown Nederland. Events vary in price. Call 303-506-1048 or visit for details.
