A man was shot and taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries early Saturday morning in northwest Denver, police said.
The shooting happened at West 46th Avenue and Alcott Street around 6:20 a.m., said police spokesman Sonny Jackson.
The victim, who has not been identified, is said to have non life-threatening injuries after being shot in his midsection.
A red or maroon vehicle was seen leaving the area following the shooting, Jackson said.
