According to The National Weather service over 19 inches of snow fell in Denver March 23. (John Leyba, The Denver Post)
During Wednesday s blizzard, I stopped to help a lady whose car was stuck in the middle of the road. After freeing her (with the help of two others), I found my car was hopelessly buried. A young man emerged from an apartment to help me and another young man stopped to help. Although it seemed hopeless, they would not leave until I was free. When offered money, they just laughed and said, Good luck! They then walked up the hill to help another stranded motorist.
When I hear people speak of the lack of character of today s youth, I want to remember these fine two young men. Thank you from the man in the blue car to two true gentlemen.
