The McDonald’s All-American Games will be Wednesday in Chicago.
The girls, who will be having their 15th annual game, will tip off at 4:30 Colorado time. The boys, set for their 39th meeting, will play at 7 p.m.
Kyle Shook, Mesa Ridge in Colorado Springs, will be in action for the girls. She’s on the West team and will wear No. 34. Six-foot-4, Shook, who will play at Louisville, averaged 27.3 points and 13.8 rebounds for the Grizzlies, who finished 2015-16 24-2, losing in the Great 8 to Holy Family.
All told, Shook scored 1,797 points; set state marks for career rebounding (1,299) and blocks (620); helped the grizzlies to 93 team victories; and won a state title, (Class 4A, two seasons ago).
