Portions of a 4.4-mile stretch of Santa Fe Drive from downtown Littleton to just south of C-470 are scheduled for repaving operations that will cause some motorist delays through July, the Colorado Department of Transportation reported Wednesday.

The segment of road from Crestline Avenue to Blakeland Drive is expected to have new surfacing as well as raised median islands, new curb ramps, signal heads and pedestrian crossings at major intersections.

The work is being handled by Martin Marietta Materials of Westminster under a $3.5 million contract, according to CDOT.

Shoulder and turn lanes will be closed as needed from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays while rotomilling and paving work will occur overnight from 7 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., Sunday through Thursday.

Additional information is available by calling the project hotline at 720-504-4084.
