For each surprisingly solid late-career album he’s released (“Tempest” was good, “Modern Times” was great), two head-scratchers have followed. We’ve seen , a and most recently, an album of Frank Sinatra cover songs roll out of Dylan in his third act, all of which about as bad as you’d imagine.

And alas, today is the day our fears surrounding “Fallen Angels,” Dylan’s latest, are confirmed. The 12-track LP will be yet another album composed largely of Frank Sinatra covers. Great!
