Tight-knit town with room to stretch: In Brighton, elacora lets you sneak-a-peek at a 4-bedroom model from under $350,000

In the friendly, tight-knit town of Brighton 25 minutes from downtown, you can find something hard to get in any other part of the Denver metro area now – new single-family homes that are still priced from just over $300,000. And three miles east of Brighton’s historic downtown, you can see something today you can’t find anywhere else in Brighton: homes at those prices that you could move into in May.

Off Bridge Street at N. 42 Avenue, elacora – a Colorado-based builder – has infill sites in an established neighborhood called Parkview at Brighton East Farms. Today elacora will let you have a first peek inside its big-family ‘Plume’ model there – 2,782 square feet with an option for a 3-car tandem garage — priced from $349,900.

Pre-model sales are just opening today – and that’s likely the only reason why elacora can also show you a selection of homes near completion of its five Parkview floor plans; some that can deliver next month. Those include the ‘Cliffrose’ ranch with a fireplace, stainless appliances, slab granite counters and a full basement, priced right now at $384,314. Buy it before elacora’s scheduled grand opening April 30, and you’ll get backyard landscaping included at no extra cost.

Michael Conners with elacora will have coffee and cookies from Panera out today in the model, where he’ll show you all five floor plans – including that popular ranch (on new home starts, it has an option for a full-wide three-car garage). He’ll tell you about local 27-J schools, including Mary E. Pennock Elementary – a six-for-ten-star rating that’s well surpassed by the reviews parents are giving it at GreatSchools.org. He’ll point out Bergman Park, directly west of the model, and where a King Soopers is open a mile east, and where Prairie Center mall and Platte Valley Medical Center have arrived along I-76.

If this is a good fit for you, you’re going to be just as fond of some attractions Brighton has had for decades. “This is a tight-knit town that still has room to stretch out,” says elacora’s Vice President for Sales and Marketing, Alisa Poncher. If you arrive from west of Brighton on Highway 7, you’ll pass its historic Main Street with popular taverns like Copper Rail and Jerry’s Bar & Grill – and friendly mom-&-pops like Billie’s on Bridge Street where I had lunch.

The commuter location, adds Poncher, is under a half hour from downtown – and works better still if your working world is centered at DIA, just 20 minutes, or along the Boulder/U.S. 36 corridor, 30 minutes, where prices are much, much higher.

To reach the sneak preview of Parkview at Brighton East Farms from I-25 take Highway 7 east eight miles, continuing through downtown Brighton as 7 becomes Bridge Street/160th, and continue east three more miles to N. 42nd. Turn left past Bergman Park to a right on Pioneer Place. If arriving up I-76 from Henderson or Thornton, take the Bromley exit (there’s no exit at Bridge/160th) and angle back west over the freeway to the Frontage Road heading north. After a block, turn north on S. 50th, then head north a mile to Bridge, and west to 42nd.
