The Colorado Springs Police Department has determined the victim of an “is safe and has not suffered any harm,” according to a news release Monday.
Police identified the female shown in surveillance video and photographs from the incident that occurred Saturday, but said detectives continue to work on the investigation.
Officials received a call Saturday around 2:10 p.m. notifying them that a woman was seen being forced into a gold Acura MDX by a white male believed to be in his mid-50s.
Officers recovered surveillance video from the scene, which occurred on the 4000 block of Austin Bluffs Parkway.
