Detectives in western Colorado are asking for the public’s help as they investigate the rumored slaying of a transient man who may have been buried near a Glenwood Springs-area homeless camp.

Emmanuel Johnson has been missing since about August 25 and authorities say his body could be near Doc Holliday’s Grave Trailhead.

Crime Stoppers of Garfield County is offering up to $1,000 for any information that will lead to arrests or indictments involved in the case.

Anyone with information in the case is asked to contact Detective Michael Yorty with the Glenwood Springs Police Department by calling 970-384-6500.
