This year’s induction ceremony for the Colorado Music Hall of Fame is focusing on 20th century pioneers — most recognizably the Big Band legend Glenn Miller and contemporary chanteuse and club owner Lannie Garrett, above, of Lannie’s Clocktower Cabaret, who will perform with the still-kicking Glenn Miller Orchestra. The 7 p.m. ceremony on April 16 also honors lesser-known but equally vital Colorado artists Paul Whiteman, Elizabeth Spencer, Max Morath and Billy Murray in the recently renovated Glenn Miller Ballroom on the University of Colorado campus in Boulder. Tickets for the 16-and-up show are $53 and available by calling 888-929-7849 or visiting .
