
Android and iOS developers can make a good living in Denver. According to a report from , actual salaries of such workers placed at Denver-area firms started around $126,000 and were as high as $171,000.
“In my experience, I’ve never worked with an Android developer that made less than six figures,” said Jessica Stoner, Mondo’s recruitment lead in Denver.
Across the board, salaries are between 2 to 8 percent higher than a year ago. And while Silicon Valley pay is the highest nationwide, Denver tech pay is keeping pace, she said.
As might be expected, the highest Denver salaries went to the top tech job: the Chief Information Officer of Chief Technology Officer. The range in Denver was between $175,000 to $260,000, which Mondo says is an 8 percent increase from last year.
By comparison, Android developers received salaries between $138,000 to $182,000. CIOs and CTOs, meanwhile, were paid $182,000 to $268,000.
And the median household income for in 2014, according to the Metro Denver Economic Development Corp.
According to Mondo, the highest salaries for Denver-area tech workers are:
- CIO/CTO: $175,000-$260,000
- Chief Data Officer: $138,000-$187,000
- Chief Security Officer: $130,000-$184,000
- UX/UI Designer: $108,000-$173,000
- Director, PMO $121,000-$172,000
- IOS Developer: $127,000-$172,000
- Application Architect: $128,000-$172,000
- Android Developer: $126,000-$171,000
