Despite receiving almost a foot of wet, heavy snow, Denver International Airport anticipates returning to its normal schedule Sunday.

On Saturday, were canceled.

“We didn’t have many delays because our flight schedule was thinned out,” said Heath Montgomery, DIA spokesman.

“I think we will see a large number of passengers rebook today,” as people who missed, or canceled their flight plans on Saturday, arrive at the airport. I think a lot of people avoided flying yesterday. There weren’t a lot of people in the airport,” he added.

Travelers should arrive at the early. Montgomery recommends checking flight status with the airline and arriving at least two hours before the scheduled flight time.

The reports travel at DIA is normal, which means arrivals and departures are delayed by 15 minutes or less.
