Colorado Springs police officers responding to reports of an explosion and fire Sunday afternoon found materials used in the production of hash oil.
Investigators were called about 4 p.m. to a home at the Willow Creek Apartments on the 100 block of North 31st Street where they discovered the explosion and fire.
There was damage to the interior of the apartment, police say, and the home’s occupant was taken to a hospital with “significant burns.”
Authorities say their investigation into the blaze is ongoing.
