
1 Nature hater. A homeowner in the 8300 block of Club Crest Drive in Arvada reported a truck drove through his yard April 1 and intentionally ran over a young tree. Down the street, officers discovered someone drove around in circles in an open area, destroying the grass.
2 Rocky relationship. Police called to an apartment in the 5400 block of Water Tower Promenade in Arvada on a domestic disturbance April 1 were greeted by a woman in her underwear and blanket who said her boyfriend locked her out. The woman said he got mad because she drank the remaining beer, and he kicked her out.
3 Bad way to start day. A man walked out his front door in the 10100 block of West 59th Avenue in Arvada on April 3 to discover his 2002 Ford Escort had been stolen the night before. He told officers the vehicle was locked, and no signs of broken glass were found.
4 Domestic dispute. Police arrested a man April 4 after interviewing his girlfriend at Lutheran Medical Center, where she was being treated for a head injury. The woman told police her boyfriend grabbed her head and slammed it into the floor of their home in the 7600 block of West 57th Avenue in Arvada.
5 Taco Bell siesta. Police arrested a man on suspicion of DUI on April 4 after an employee of the Taco Bell at 8760 Wadsworth Blvd. in Arvada reported a person had passed out in the drive-thru and was unresponsive.
