April 22: The 12th annual Art Director Club of Denver Paper Fashion Show features dresses that are 95 percent paper instead of fabric. Proceeds will be donated to Downtown Aurora Visual Arts. Stapleton Central Park
April 23: The sixth annual Dress for Success Denver Power Walk, benefiting disadvantaged women in career development and employment retention, asks participants to take part in a 5K. Attendees may sign up individually or as a team (four people minimum). Dogs are welcome. Registration is $25 per person and $5 for dogs. Online registration closes at midnight, April 21. Registration on Saturday is from 9-10 a.m. The walk starts at 10 a.m. Participants who register early will receive a T-shirt. Walkers are encouraged to dress in costume. Prizes will be given for best dressed and best-dressed dog. Other events include a festiva and clothing donation with Act II Consignment Boutique.
