Every celebration needs a soundtrack, and 4/20 is no different.
The annual observance of all things cannabis inspires dozens of music events throughout Colorado, ranging from small-club dance parties to massive outdoor concerts. But for the modern music listener, it also elicits a tremendous amount of Spotify activity. Coloradoans, no longer content to plop down on a basement bean bag chair and spin both sides of Dark Side of the Moon, are creating marijuana-themed playlists at a prodigious rate.
What say we throw one more onto the pile?
Instead of going with stereotypical weed songs, we created a playlist of music that’s perfect to put on at any THC jubilee. We’re calling it our playlist. (You think this is easy?) In other words, you don’t even have to be high to dig it. It’s a mix of new-and-old R&B, pop, sunny rock and international funk. You’re gonna love it.
