Interview with Juana Roman, owner
Q: How did you get involved in this business?
A: I’ve been a hair stylist for 14 years and I have worked in the industry in two countries. In my home country, I opened my first salon, and when I moved to the U.S., I would rent stations to work. In the time that I’ve been here, while renting, I have made sure I’ve improved in the business and went out to many different classes around the country to improve myself and learn new techniques. I chose to open Glamour Hair Salon in Northglenn because, here, I found the space and the opportunity to finally open my own business. Now I have the chance to make all my ideas come true in my own salon.
Q: What distinguishes you from other businesses in your category?
A: We care about glam, and not the money. We try to educate ourselves to stay on top of new products. We respect the customers’ opinions.
Q: What do you like best about your line of work?
A: Leaving people happy with their look.
Q: What is your business’ biggest challenge?
A: Everything is a challenge, but we always get stronger and smarter.

A: We are so friendly and we always take classes to learn more and more every year.
