Investigators say she told her son s 19-year-old roommate to lie about how he obtained a pot brownie, which her son, also 19 at the time, consumed moments before hurling himself from the window.

Her son, Austin Essig, suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

A jury on Wednesday convicted Jablonski of giving her son s friend the edible. In Colorado, possession and consumption of recreational marijuana is illegal for anyone younger than 21.

Jablonski is scheduled to be sentenced June 1.
