A 51-year-old man pleaded guilty this week to spontaneously and inexplicably stabbing a Georgetown bar patron in the neck last year.
Dean M. Hennessy, 51, admitted Wednesday to second-degree attempted murder for the June 28, 2015, attack at Mother’s Saloon.
The 5th Judicial District Attorney’s Office says Hennessy, who was also a patron at the bar, tried to flee, but was apprehended by the Clear Creek County deputies.
The victim has made a full recovery from his wounds, prosecutors said in a news release.
