Tech Tip: Mailbag reader Harry Puncec wrote in to share the all-purpose tip of what to do if your computer freezes. Press and hold down the power button until the PC reboots. “A friend called me with a computer question (me???).  His laptop froze up and he was stuck. I asked him if he had tried the three-finger salute (Alt+Ctrl+Delete) and he had. … I told him to press and hold down the start/power button for 15 seconds, let up and wait a few more seconds, and then power up again in the usual way. It worked and he was soon back in business.”
