A child was fatally shot late Friday night in Aurora.
Police in Aurora are investigating the shooting death of a “10-year-old victim,” according to a 10:46 p.m. Twitter post by the police department.
The fatal shooting happened at 1575 Galena St., police said.
The address of the shooting is part of a two-story, townhome row. The residence is down the block from Crawford Elementary School.
Police did not release any information on a motive or a suspect in the incident.
