A motorcycle rider who died in a crash Monday on a Denver highway has been identified.
James Cruz, 30, died of blunt-force injuries, according to the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner.
Cruz was riding north on Interstate 25 between Alameda and 6th avenues at about 1:15 p.m. Monday when the motorcycle crashed. Another person involved in the single-vehicle crash was taken to a local hospital with critical injuries, according to Denver police.
