Adams County authorities have identified the Westminster man at a Federal Boulevard strip club.

Salvador Mestas, 32, died of multiple gunshot wounds, the county coroner’s office said Thursday. His manner of death has been ruled a homicide.

Mestas died at Denver Health medical center.

The shooting happened early Saturday at the Players Club on the 6700 block of Federal Boulevard. Adams County sheriff’s deputies responded and found Mestas wounded before he was taken to Denver Health and pronounced dead.

Investigators have not said what precipitated the shooting. Investigators say the person responsible for the shooting was a strip-club employee. No arrests  have been announced.

The sheriff’s office is working with prosecutors to investigate.
