Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign is launching its first television ads in Colorado this week, seeking to reshape her image and emphasize her work on behalf of children.

Two 30-second spots — dubbed “Always” and “Quiet Moments” — take a biographical approach with a photo and video montage as a narrator intones in one: “She would grow up to be one of the most recognizable women in the world, but less-well-known are the causes that have been at the center of her life.” The third ad, called “Who We Are,” features Clinton as the narrator and hits presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump for his campaign rhetoric.

The Clinton camp is spending about $475,000 to televise the ads in Denver and Colorado Springs through July 10, according to an analysis of FCC records filed through Wednesday. The campaign would not confirm the figures and did not offer details about which ads are getting the most air time.

The medium-sized buy over the next month — mostly concentrated in Denver — starts what is expected to be a big-spending election for TV ads in the state. The Clinton effort announced Thursday is part of an eight-figure national media buy in eight swing states, including Florida, Iowa, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio and Virginia.

“For Hillary, itap always been about kids,” the narrator says in one ad, which highlights her work to create the children’s health insurance program.

A pro-Clinton super PAC, Priorities USA, is also on TV in Colorado, attacking presumptive Republican nominee for at a recent campaign rally. Titled “Grace,” the ad features two parents of a child with spina bifida. It features some of the same cable TV news footage used in Clinton’s “Who We Are” spot.

Trump has yet to air television ads in Colorado and will hold in the state July 1. Clinton  that week for a June 28 fundraiser in Denver.
