
The price of looking good. A woman entered the Ulta Beauty shop at 7301 S. Santa Fe Drive, Littleton, on May 24, quickly concealed several makeup products in her purse and rushed out to a waiting, silver SUV and drove away. Store staff determined she stole 11 items worth $511. They failed to get a license plate.
Not an action movie shootout. Police investigated reports of a suspicious vehicle in the 500 block of West Hampden Avenue, Englewood, just before 2 a.m. May 27 and found a man and woman inside in the process of injecting heroin. Both were arrested.
Easier ways to get a pen. Someone broke into Peak Dermatology, 2009 W. Littleton Blvd. Littleton, over the weekend of May 21 and 22 and stole a computer monitor and assorted office supplies worth a total of $280, according to staff. There were no signs of forced entry.
Neither activity is good for you. Witnesses reported a woman was banging her head against the window of her car in the 100 block of West Belleview Avenue, Englewood, on June 1. When police arrived, she was asleep. They found several syringes loaded with heroin in her car. She was arrested.
The old switcheroo. A woman living in the 6000 block of South Spotswood Drive, Littleton, woke up May 25 to find that her son’s bike, which had been parked between her car and the trash cans outside their home, had been stolen and another bike was left in its place.
