Interview with Jackie Rose, owner
Q: How did you get involved in this business?
:I received my formal training in floral design in 2006 from Trim International School of Floral Design. I have always loved flowers and I love working with people so it was natural for me to become a retail florist. I am always honored to create gorgeous floral arrangements for sacred ceremonies. I love helping to create a bride’s dream wedding.
Q: What distinguishes you from other businesses in your category?
A: The big difference between Love Blooms Florist and other florists is that I don’t have a store front to pay for, as I work from my home studio so my overhead isn’t so great. This allows me to work with my client’s budget and to offer affordable prices. After all, I am doing this for the love of flowers and natural beauty.
Q: What do you like best about your line of work?
A: I love working with people and making them happy with my art. I like picking my client’s brain for all the details I need to create what they have in mind for their big event.
Q: What is your business’ biggest challenge?
:The biggest challenge for Love Blooms Florist is not having a store front for the community to drive by and see. I am excited for more people to know about my floral design services so I can bring their parties to life with my flower power.
Q: Something people might be surprised to learn about you or your business:
A: I believe that “The Earth laughs in flowers!”
