Fight involves 15-20 people. On June 24, Denver police responded to the 2000 block of Market Street on a report of a fight involving 15-20 people. Police made three arrests and learned the fight started with an argument between two groups of men. Women also entered the fray, jumping on the backs of some of the men involved.

Man bites man. An off-duty police officer working as security arrested a man June 26 after he was involved in an altercation at VIE Nightclub, 1427 Larimer St. The suspect was in the process of being kicked out for fighting with another man, but continued the fight, grabbing on to the other man and biting his leg. The officer subdued the suspect with mace.

Victim kicked while sleeping. On June 22, a man was assaulted and robbed while sleeping in the 1800 block of Welton Street. The victim told police that four suspects approached and him and kicked him. They took his wallet and fled scene.

Robbery suspect leaves with nothing. Police responded to an armed robbery June 24 at Dairy Queen, 7150 Leetsdale Drive. The suspect entered through the back door and pointed a gun at an employee, demanding money from the safe and register. The employee was not able to gain entry into the safe and there was no money in the register, so the suspect left the scene.

Suspect hits woman, spits in face. On June 28, police responded to an altercation in the 3400 block of South Lowell Boulevard. Investigation revealed that a male suspect slapped a female victim and spit in her face during an argument between the two. The suspect then fled.
