Q: Do you know or know anyone who might, why the TracFone network has been down nearly all the time since a few weeks ago? Possible sabotage? Was long happy with my “dumbphone” and their service but have had to switch to another network and get one of their smartphones instead. Would still like to use my old phone as a backup if the TracFone system gets fixed, should that ever happen. Is this company, and possibly “dumbphones” in general. on the brink of extinction? Do you have an answer or shall the mystery abide?

  • Better yet, complain directly on the company’s , which also offers support at
  • Or tweet to its support account on Twitter at  — just by scanning AskTracFone’s tweets shows it is responding to customers.
  • Or if you really want to talk to a person but can’t find a number, try  which offers phone numbers and what buttons to press to quickly get to a human.
  • There are also plenty of sites that collect user complaints but offer no solutions. However, scan the complaints about companies to see if anyone else has similar issues:  , ,

And will dumb phones be extinct one day? Probably. But only when people stop buying them.
