The Arvada Center for Arts and Humanities has been a community hub for the arts for decades now, and 40 years (and more than 170 musicals) later is celebrating its anniversary with a performing arts extravaganza on Saturday. The concert with the Colorado Symphony will both honor the center’s past — selections for the concert include songs from “West Side Story,” “Miss Saigon” and “Oklahoma” — and look to the future, when members of the center’s Musical Theatre Teen Intensive summer camp take the stage. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the concert begins at 7:30 p.m. July 9 at 6901 Wadsworth Blvd. Tickets start at $20 at .
