Deputies are no longer looking for two young girls who were reportedly taken by their father Friday afternoon.
Officials for the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office say there is no concern for the girls’ safety, and say the kidnapping never happened.
Deputies received a call about the possible parental kidnapping just after 3 p.m. Friday. The girls were reportedly taken from their home where they live with their mother in Peyton.
At 5 p.m. officials stopped working on issuing an Amber Alert.
