Funny or Die’s massive stand-up tour, The Oddball Comedy & Curiosity Festival, has announced a late-summer return with a Sept. 20 Red Rocks Amphitheatre show. Unlike years past, the 2016 version features more mainstream headliners among the alt-leaning names: Sebastian Maniscalco, Gabriel Iglesias, Hannibal Buress, Jeff Ross, Tom Segura, Iliza Schlesinger, Kumail Nanjiani, Bridget Everett and others. Tickets went on sale July 25. ($49.50-$125, axs.com)

Morrissey’s latest world tour will play the surprisingly intimate (by his standards) Boulder Theater Nov. 14, with on-sale dates/prices yet to be announced as of press time. Check back here or heyreverb.com for updates.

Another bright light for stand-up fans: W. Kamau Bell, from CNN’s “United Shades of America,” returns for a Nov. 4 show at the Boulder Theater. Tickets are on sale. ($25, bouldertheater.com)

Outgoing “A Prairie Home Companion” host Garrison Keillor will drop the variety show for a solo gig at the Paramount Theatre on Dec. 1. Tickets are on sale at 10 a.m. July 29. ($35-$95, altitudetickets.com)

Mariachi heroes Mariachi Vargas De Tecalitlan and Yolanda Del Rio will play a Sept. 30 concert at the Paramount. Tickets are on sale at 10 a.m. July 29 ($39-$99, altitudetickets.com).
