The majority of the half-price Denver Broncos tickets sold out in 20 minutes.
Tickets to the home opener versus the Carolina Panthers (a Super Bowl 50 rematch) and Denver’s Monday Night Football match-up with the Houston Texans went especially fast, Broncos spokeswoman Rebecca Villanueva said.
A few preseason and single-seat regular season tickets are still available. Everything else went in under 20 minutes, which has been standard for the past few years, she said.
Fans took to social media both to celebrate their victories and lament their losses in the heated battle that was the half-price ticket sale.
