Rain is expected across the Front Range throughout the day Friday as temperatures drop to the low 70s.
There is a 50 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms in the morning and afternoon, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder.
The high today is expected to be 71 degrees, which is 25 degrees cooler than Wednesday’s temperature.

Rain and thunderstorms are also expected on Saturday, mainly in the afternoon. It will be partly sunny with a high of around 80 degrees.
The chance for rain and afternoon thunderstorms diminishes Sunday through Tuesday as the high temperatures rebound from 85 on Sunday to 90 on Tuesday.
It is expected to be mostly sunny in the middle of next with with highs of 91 on Wednesday and 89 on Thursday, according to the NWS.
