About 30 people ran from a party at a Fountain residence and a woman was wounded when someone sprayed the home, and nearby vehicles, with bullets early Sunday.
The incident happened in the 9500 block of Castle Oaks Drive at about 1:45 a.m., Fountain police said.
Someone who was attending the party walked out and began shooting, said Fountain Det. Marshall Trujillo.
Police questioned a number of people, but “nobody saw anything,” Trujillo said.
“Everybody was drunk,” and things got out of hand, he added.
The 22-year-old woman’s wounds are not life-threatening.
