Two children and a teenager drowned Monday in a Pueblo swimming pool.
Emergency responders were called at about 2:10 p.m. to Pueblo Grande Village, 999 Fortino Blvd., according to the Pueblo Police Department.
Police identified two victims, ages 3 and 5, as sisters and a 17-year-old victim as a “sitter” for the children.
The teen was watching the girls at the time of the drowning, police said.
Officers tried to revive the victims at Pueblo Grande Village, a mobile home park north of downtown. Pueblo police said the victims were pronounced dead by the coroner’s office.
An investigation is ongoing. The names of the victims were not released.
