Denver’s coroner Tuesday identified the 39-year-old man whose body was found last month in the city’s Montbello neighborhood.
Walter Bracken Jr. died from “blunt-force injuries and sharp-force injuries,” the city’s medical examiner’s office said. The manner of death was ruled homicide.
Bracken’s remains on the side of the road at East Andrews Drive and Elgin Place.
A neighbor, who did not want to be identified, that he found a lifeless body lying on the ground and on fire after he stepped outside and smelled smoke.
No arrests have been announced in Bracken’s death.
