Dan MaasThe Thompson School District in Loveland announced Sunday that it lost chief operations officer Dan Maas — killed in an auto accident Friday night in Denver.
Maas was 47. He supervised the districtap facilities, operations, planning, transportation and information technology.
“This is a huge loss for our district,” superintendent Stan Scheer said. “Dan was a highly talented and resourceful person……It will be huge challenge to fill the vacuum that has been left by his sudden passing.”
