Ruckus at McDonald’s. On Aug. 30, Denver police responded to a disturbance at McDonald’s, 4020 W. Colfax Ave., where a woman was involved in an argument with another customer. After the manager tried to separate the two parties, the suspect threatened the manager and said she and her friends would come back to “shoot up the place.” She also threw food at the manager. She was arrested.

Doorman punched. A doorman called police Aug. 24 after he was assaulted by an unruly customer at the Park Tavern, 931 E. 11th Ave. The suspect was causing a disturbance and was asked to leave, but still was a problem once outside. The doorman attempted to quell the situation, but was punched in the face.

Patrons skip out on bill. On Aug. 29, an employee at Denver Diner, 470 W. Colfax Ave., called police after two patrons left without paying their bill. The bill was just under $13 and the patrons were seen leaving in a vehicle.

No ticket. Police responded to a disturbance Aug. 25 where a woman was shouting profanities at the bus at the Greyhound bus station, 1055 19th St. Police contacted the woman, who did not have a ticket and continued to use profanities. When asked if she was drinking, the woman confirmed that she was and breathed in the officer’s face. She tried to breathe in another officer’s face and was restrained.

Lyft driver robs customers. On Aug. 27, police responded to the 2200 block of East Buchtel Blvd. on a report of a robbery. The victim said he and his girlfriend had used Lyft to get a ride home. He said he had paid for the ride on his app, but the driver still demanded money. The driver then grabbed the victim’s phone and wallet and drove away.
