I was pleased to read that RTD is penalizing Denver Transit Partners for the inconvenience it is causing travelers on the A-Line to Denver International Airport, which has been substantial, as well as the cost of crossing guards due to their failure to install the system correctly in the first place. Kudos to The Post and the television media for keeping the heat on and to RTD for heeding the news. This is a prime example of what a free press does for citizens in reporting problems and government reacting properly to the news.
