Pueblo police have arrested a man on suspicion of first-degree murder in connection .
Clinton Jeremy Loonsfoot was in custody at Denver’s downtown jail when he was linked to the Feb. 6 slaying of 21-year-old Chuck Quintana.
Quintana was fatally shot at the Casa Del Sol apartments in Pueblo on the 1700 block of Constitution Road.

Police said Clinton was being held by the Denver Sheriff Department for unrelated charges at the time of his arrest in the killing. Arrest documents in the case have been sealed.
Investigators determined after the shooting that Quintana was involved in an altercation prior to being shot.
