Mostly clear skies are forecast for the Denver metro area with a high reaching about 83 degrees on Thursday.

It’s expected to get breezy and cloudy in the evening. The low will be around 51 degrees Thursday night, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder.

Rain and thundershowers are possible Friday afternoon, when the high temperature is expected to reach 76 degrees. The chance for rain will increase to 20 percent Friday night, according to the NWS.

There is a small chance for afternoon rain on the weekend, the first two days of October. The highs through the weekend will be in the high 70s.

A cool down is expected in the first part of next week.

It will be sunny and breezy, with a high near 77 on Monday. Then on Tuesday and Wednesday, when rain is possible, the high will be around 66 degrees both days.
