Two men robbed a bank in east Denver on Thursday afternoon.
The robbery happened at about 3:50 p.m. at the Compass Bank at 4125 E. Colfax Ave., said Doug Schepman, a Denver Police Department spokesman.
The pair fled the bank on foot. Police set up a search area from Colorado Boulevard to Bellaire Street and East 16th to East 17th avenues, Schepman said.
The perimeter search concluded at about 7:20 p.m.; the robbers were not found, police said.
