The roller skate-wearing thief.Sheriff’s deputies in Jefferson County are searching for a roller skate-wearing thief who stole a Red Rocks Amphitheatre bench from a home last week.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office says the theft happened in the southern part of the county late Oct. 3 or early Oct. 4. On Monday, investigators released surveillance images of the suspect.

Mark Techmeyer, spokesman for the sheriff’s office, said the bench appears to be a valuable collectible.
Anyone with information on the case is asked to call authorities at 303-271-5612 and reference case number 16-25855.
