
Vice-presidential candidate Tim Kaine is slated to appear with popular musician Dave Matthews on Monday in Denver as part of efforts to ensure Colorado voters are registered a week before ballots are mailed out.
The Virginia Senator is also slated to highlight Hillary Clinton’s economic plans during a stop at the National Western Complex.
Kaine, a Democrat, and Matthews are billed to have a concert starting at 1:30 p.m.
“Colorado has the highest percentage of registered voters of any state in the country and with more people voting in this election than any in history, Senator Kaine and Matthews will urge Colorado voters to visit to check their registration status,” the Clinton campaign said in a news release.
The Denver event comes after a wild weekend in the presidential race that included debate between Clinton and Republican Donald Trump.
Trump is on the defensive after video surfaced of him on Friday in 2005. The recording led several prominent Republicans to withdraw their support for him, including members of .
