A 17-year-old boy was shot early Thursday in Arapahoe County, authorities say.
The shooting happened about 1 a.m. on the 9300 block of East Florida Avenue where the teen was wounded in a lower extremity. The county sheriff’s office says the wound does not appear to be life threatening.

Investigators are searching for a silver Chevrolet Impala in connection with the parking lot shooting.
