Warm breezes from the southwest will keep temperatures above normal in the Denver metro area on Tuesday, forecasters say.
The high temperature is expected to reach about 74 degrees, which is 12 degrees above normal at Denver’s official recording center at Denver International Airport, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder.
The high on Monday was 79 degrees, only 3 degrees lower than the recorded all-time record of 82 degrees in 2014.
The low temperature Tuesday night will be around 45 degrees, according to the NWS.
The balmy conditions under mostly clear, sunny skies will continue through the end of the week, with temperatures ranging from the low-to-upper 70s, NWS meteorologists say.
The high on Wednesday will be around 73 degrees. The high could reach 79 degrees on Thursday.
Temperatures will slowly decline a few degrees each day through the first part of next week from Friday’s high of around 78 to Monday high of 72 degrees, the NWS forecasters say.
