Denver police are searching for a man who may have abducted a 12-year-old girl in Denver Friday afternoon.
“It appears it may have been an abduction,” said John White, Denver police spokesman.
The incident happened near 36th Avenue and Quebec Avenue.
The man described as being a white man with blonde hair in his 40s wearing a blue t-shirt. He was driving a gray minivan with an Oregon car plates, White said.
“It’s a very active investigation right now,” he said.
The case was originally reported as an attempted sexual assault, White said.
