The following are The Denver Post’s 2016 5A and 4A All-State softball teams. Selections were based off a combination of four factors: statistical analysis, a player’s relative value to her team, postseason production and the old-fashioned eye test.
There are no first team, second team or honorable mentions; there is one team selected for each classification stacked with what The Denver Post feels were the absolute best players in the state of Colorado in 2016. Each team consists of 13 players, and the first position listed is what the player made the team as.
