As sure as god made green apples, the Chicago Cubs have won the World Series after 108 years. Fans who have suffered heartbreak through the years had something to be proud of after the thriller.

One man that was looking down on the Cubs was legendary announcer Harry Caray, who passed away in 1998. He broadcast Cubs games from the booth for WGN for 16 years and was known for his love of leading the seventh inning stretch, singing at Wrigley Field. Caray was also know for partaking in an ice cold Budweiser.

After the game, Budweiser aired a classic commercial of Caray in the bleachers of Wrigley saying, “Cubs fans, this Bud’s for you.”

Budweiser also worked with the Caray family estate and put together a video where they placed audio over video from Game 7 of the World Series, so Caray could call the final out against the Indians.
