Three people were shot in northeast Denver on Friday night.

The multiple shootings happened at about 9:30 p.m. in the 3100 block of Fillmore Street, police said.

All three were taken to a local hospital with injuries that are not life threatening, said Doug Schepman, a Denver Police Department spokesman.

Police did not immediately release information on a suspect or a motive in the shootings.

The block was cordoned off by police, who were going door-to-door as part of the ongoing investigation.
